As a family-run business led by husband-and-wife team, Lee and Bella, we bring over 30 years of combined experience in providing thoughtful, tailored funeral services. Since founding our business in 2012, our mission has been to honour every life with dignity, respect, and a deeply personal touch.

We are based in Tean, Staffordshire, but because of our roots and personal connections, we proudly serve Uttoxeter and the surrounding villages. Specialising in traditional funeral services, we also appreciate the desire for change, embracing new approaches while maintaining the respect and care every farewell deserves.

About Lee

Lee, the founder and funeral director of Field Funeral Services, has dedicated his career to providing compassionate, personal, and bespoke funeral care. His journey began at a young age after experiencing the kindness and support of a funeral director when his grandmother passed away. This moment inspired him to pursue a career in the profession, leading him to gain experience and his diploma qualification at a larger funeral company.

While grateful for the knowledge and skills he developed there, Lee always knew his passion lay in offering a more personal and flexible approach. In 2012, he founded Field Funeral Services with a vision of creating an independent funeral home where families receive tailored support without the constraints of time limits or sales targets.

At Field Funeral Services, no request is too big or too small. Lee is committed to ensuring every farewell is meaningful, dignified, and reflective of the life being celebrated.

About Bella

Bella joined Field Funeral Services in 2019, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her work at a children’s hospice. Her background in providing care and support during difficult times gave her invaluable skills that seamlessly transferred to the funeral profession.

Recognising the importance of a truly family-run service, Bella plays a vital role in supporting Lee and ensuring every family receives the compassionate care they deserve. She is often the first person you’ll speak to when you call, guiding you through each step of the funeral arrangements with warmth, understanding, and attention to detail.

With Bella by your side, you can be assured that every aspect of your loved one’s farewell will be handled with care, ensuring a meaningful and personal tribute.

A Family at the Heart of Field Funeral Services

Lee and Bella have been together for over 20 years and married in 2012. As proud parents to two sons, aged 15 and 11, family is at the core of everything they do—both at home and in their work.

When they’re not dedicating their time to supporting families, you’ll often find them on the sidelines of their boys’ football or rugby matches, cheering them on. They’re also active members of the local community and enjoy spending time at the village club, reinforcing their belief in the importance of connection, support, and togetherness.

Supporting Local

We take great pride in working with local and independent businesses as part of our funeral services. Our service sheets are thoughtfully designed and printed in Uttoxeter, while our coffins are handcrafted to order in Ashbourne. We also maintain strong relationships with local florists and caterers, ensuring a personal and community-focused approach to every service.
